NPR Up First
My go too, quick download on what is happening in the world each morning. I grab my coffee and catch up on the news in less than 20 minutes. Great way to get the cliff note version of what’s going on in the world.
Girls Gotta Eat
I know there are plenty of girl gang podcasts out there and I happened to stumble on these two and got sucked in. I love their refreshing, zero f*cks given attitude and real talk mentality. They add some spunk to my morning walks with the pup.
The Tim Ferriss Show
Tim Ferriss touches on everything from economics to politics to relationships and more. His collection of speakers are amazing to listen to and help me gain a different perspective.
Unlocking Us
I cannot wait, literally, for Brene Brown’s podcast to hit the airwaves this month. As an inspiration to all, especially women, and speaking on topics like self worth, courage, and vunerability - Brene touches the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Dave Ramsey Show
My sister, Val, got me hooked into Dave Ramsey. He talks all things financial and gives me a run for my money, literally making me think about how to save for the future and invest in myself.
Being Boss
This ladies are new to me, but their podcast covers all things women entrepreneurs are thinking as they launch their own brands and businesses. Their podcasts are never repetitive and full of great lessons learned as I develop my brand.
The Lively Show
Jess started her own business at 15, made that a full-time career and has launched off that into her own brand as a business coach. She dives into all the things we women thing about - love, life, work, play - and how to be effective and successful at each one.
S-Town
I was obsessed when Serial came out and cannot wait for some more juicy tales from the producers. Consider me hooked on this sh*t.
Real Talk Ladies
So proud of two of my fav gal pals launching RTL. Kim and Kelly, talk about all the things - work, pay, dating, traveling, and more. It is like a virtual happy hour with your closest girlfriends. Grab a glass of vino, some popcorn, and take a listen!
Hear Me Roar
As a rape survivor, Hear Me Roar, brings me a sense of community with other survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Each survivor shares their story and journey - how they continue to move forward after such horrific acts. It is not for the faint of heart and gets raw, but the vulnerability is what keeps me coming back. Knowing they are strong enough to share their stories, gives me strength to continue the conversation with you all.
